Harrods Home / Bed, Bath & Luxury Linen

London

The brief

As part of the Harrods Masterplan, Bath, Beds and Bed Linen needed to become one of the most attractive offers of the Home floor. Softness, a sense of comfort, craftmanship and quality were the essential attributes to be present in the retail environment as these are also essential to the idea of ‘home’. The offer needed to easily flow between three interlinked rooms, allowing natural light, reinstating original details and integrating leading luxury brands into a generic design approach.

Our approach

The Beds & Bath department introduces subtle differentiation between categories in terms of presentation and materiality as well as playing with variations on the flooring herringbone pattern. Understated but effective differences between areas encourage a sense of flow and a coherent design approach throughout the visit. The Luxury Linens room is organised as a gallery of the finest bedlinen boutiques , integrating a bespoke service area as well as the Harrods Interior Design studio. Beds and Mattresses houses a selected edition of the best brands, adding Harrods personalised service through a library of products and material choices. Shell definition, state of the art lighting as well as portals and transitions between rooms give a consistent design framework to the overall offer.
