The brief

Harrods is in the process of reviewing their store design and improve overall circulation with the aim of delivering a more logical and simpler customer journey throughout their entire store. As part of this new Masterplan, Virgile + Partners was commissioned with the renovation of the Home offer located in the 3 rd floor. Bed and Bath, is the first of a variety of rooms in the Home floor and it needed to set up , from the point of arrival the luxury residential feel of the new Home department.

Our approach

The offer integrates bed linen and bath accessories introducing subtle differentiation between categories in terms of presentation and materiality, in order to make a clear visual statement. Product display and visual merchandising are one of the main considerations and drivers of the design scheme, introducing pauses and ‘moments’ where the offer comes to life, supporting the strength of the product groups and categories.
